What Can I Do About Wrinkled Skin Under My Eyes?
Wrinkled skin under the eyes can be treated with skin resurfacing. This is performed with either chemical or laser resurfacing. Both are equally effective. Wrinkled skin is usually not improved with surgery. However, the appearance of wrinkles can improve slightly if extra skin is removed, for example as part of a lower facelift or eyelid lift surgery. This improvement is mainly seen as a result of the ''tightening'' effect of removing extra skin. Patients will often have resurfacing at the same time a a facial rejuvenation procedure such as a facelift.
